The Shipp Ranch breeding program consist of over 200 head of pen raised whitetail deer. These deer are from South Texas and the Midwest. The Midwestern deer were introduced to Texas several years ago(1993), and most of the deer here now have been bred and born in Texas. They have acclimated well and now we have several generations of Texas Raised Northerns. We have added some outstanding 300 BC Genetics threw our A-I program. Redoy Magnum 267 BC at 5years old. Gene Flees Poncho 238 BC.over 55 inches of mass."ACE" a 36 " wide 190BC at 3 years of age. "ECLIPSE" a 274BC two year old, "AVALANCHE" a 215 BC, 4 drop tines, at two years of age, "HIGHROLLER" over 350BC and "TURBO" who scored 160BC as a yearling and is a Paternal Grandsire of RDM Goliath 410 BC. We will be offering some A-I Bred Does For Sale this Fall.Our Breeders are all DNA tested from DNA Solutions out of Ardmore OK. or Wildlife Genetics International Inc. Nelson, BC. We stand behind our deer. We started our Breeding Program in 1992 purchasing deer from several Breeder's in Texas and the Midwest. Since then we have added new genetics' to our herd each year.We are striving each year to improve our herds overall genetics threw Breeding.
We have a Texas Raised Midwestern Herd along with a Pure South Texas Herd and are crossing the two line.
