The Shipp Ranch breeding program consist of deer from South Texas and the Midwest. The Midwestern deer were introduced to Texas several years ago(1993), and all of the deer here now have been bred and born in Texas. They have acclimated well and now we have several generations of Texas Raised Whitetails. We have added some outstanding 300 BC Genetics threw our A-I program. Redoy Magnum 267 BC at 5years old. "ECLIPSE" a 274BC two year old, "HIGHROLLER" 418BC "DOC" Another 240+ inch 2 year old. "SOARING EAGLE" Over 300 BC at 3year old.PRISON GUARD a 265 BC 2 year old. All are pictured on our Artificial Insemination page.Hard Time a 231BC 2 year old. I-Max a 180BC 2 year old, Grandson of Max. We will be offering some A-I Bred Does For Sale this Fall. Our AI sires for this past fall 08 were King Soloman 222BC @ 2years, Ground Zero sire of Lee Wheeler's "Easy Money", "BLACK JACK" a 276 BC son of High Roller and a SHIPP RANCH DOE was his mother and Power Jack 186 BC yearling Grandson to High Roller.
Our Breeders are all DNA tested from DNA Solutions out of Ardmore OK. or Wildlife Genetics International Inc. Nelson, BC. We stand behind our deer. We started our Breeding Program in 1992 purchasing deer from several Breeder's in Texas and the Midwest. Since then we have added new genetics' to our herd each year.We are striving each year to improve our herds overall genetics threw Breeding.
We have a Texas Raised Herd mixing it with the Best of the Mid West and Texas.

Picture on the right is Top Hand at 4 years old with some antler damage.Top Hand DNAS# 27600 his mother was a SR-Bodacious daughter and his father was a yearling we raised Orange 31 now deceased.
Top Hand damaged his right beam this past 08 year @ 4years old but is looking good this 2009 growing season.
His left beam has 6 straight up with a drop and several kickers. He is a large bodied deer and looks to have had a 25 plus inch inside spread if he had not damaged his right side in 2008.
